British Masters Open Road Relays, Birmingham

Team entries are now open for the British Masters Open Relays. This very popular event, held annually, is taking place at the centrally located and easy accessible venue of Sutton Park, Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham B74 2YT. All masters (35+ male and female) that are currently first claim UKA-registered members of the same club are entitled to enter, with team entries taken from club team managers/secretaries. Only online entries will be accepted via https://www.race-results.co.uk, which can also be reached from the BMAF website fixtures page,
 
The course consists of 3-mile legs and the championships are as follows: :

  • Men: M35+ 6 legs, M45+, 4 legs, M55+, M65+ and M75+ .3 legs per team
  • Women: W35+ 4 legs, W45+, W55+ and W65+ 3 legs per team

Each team can be registered with up to three times as many runners as required, with the final choices made for each team at the time of declaration.  Clubs can enter as many teams as they wish but only the first finishing team of each club can receive medals in each championship.  Full details of the rules and other information is available in the prospectus here

 
Please note that team registrations close at midnight on 8th April and thus you need to get into action quickly to form a new team for your club.
