Peter Livingston 07/04/29 - 08/07/22

I just wanted to let the club members know that my dad, Peter Livingston, passed away on 08/07/2022. He was 93. I don’t know if anyone will remember my dad, he hadn’t ran in a while, but he was one of the founder members of the club, as well as a past president, and ran with men like Walter Ross, Emmett Farrell, Norman Ross, Gordon Porteous, Jack McLean, Maxie Philip to name but a few. He was a Bellahouston Harrier. Dad has donated his body to Medical Science, so there was no funeral, although I organised a memorial service on 02/08/2022 before I head back to Australia. I just wanted to let you know because running, and the Scottish Vets were a huge part of Dad’s life. Regards, Linda Millar
